Early nights are needed at times aren't they apple. In all honestly, 10pm used to be late for me but as the children have started going to bed at 8pm rather than 7ish I'm tending to stay up later.
Thanks greent, felt really rough yesterday. This virus keeps affecting my body in different ways and generally feeling rotten is the current affect! Food intake and activity have not been great the last few days so hoping to get back to normal with that today. Not going to go near the gym until the weekend though.
6p payable in tcb, might leave it there for now. Dh did a small shop for milk, eggs and a few other bits and spend just under £5. We are hanging in there in the final stretch before payday.
Monthly spends so far are looking good as we are now at the half way point.
November spends

Thank goodness it's Friday as this virus has really taken hold
of me. Fell asleep on the sofa at 8pm last night and honestly feel pretty rubbish.
Tcb is now at 1.06 payable so have requested that and will overpay it once it lands next week. Made an 86p Tilly tidy yesterday. Also done my mr s double up so lots of gifts bought using £70 worth of points. Still have £45 left which may use in the clothing section. Seems a shame not to use them as part of the double up. Forgot to use a triple points coupon so am hoping they will add that on for me.
Not much else to report, just doing everything we can to make it to payday!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Still poorly over here, just can't shift this virus and it's symptoms are ever changing! Haven't been to the gym all week and my nutrition has been awful. Am still hopeful I will suddenly feel germ free!
Have a few tcb credits due so have overpaid £5.56 off the mortgage, another £480 op will knock another month off. Frugal challenge ended prematurely as we are out of cash and had to start using the cc, we do however get paid this week and spends will be as low as possible. That said, I am off to an expensive garden centre today for a browse.
Mr S points have been doubled up and spent wisely. Have some t3sco vouchers but then may need to start using cash!
No great plans today, I will attempt to be productive but my priority is absolutely to feel 100% by tomorrow.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Thanks apple, I think I'm nearly recovered! Managed to get rid of my lingering headache this morning (9 days was long enough!)
Had enough energy and motivation to hoover the stairs (we have a lighter Hoover just for that and it's a pain getting it out!) also hoovered my car as it's getting full of leaves this time of year. Popped to garden centre and only spent £15 on plants and a few Christmas things. Used a £3 coupon meaning I got a Yule log for £1. Won an 3bay auction for a gift for ds for just under £20 then spent another £20 on some prints I've wanted for ages. There was a brilliant Black Friday deal I just couldn't resist.
Plan for tomorrow and onwards is taking on board apples advice to ensure I continue to recover, minimal supermarket spending and nothing online!!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Just a quick update from me as still have a few admin type jobs to do and want a fairly early nights.
Payday this week and any extras will be used wisely. dd does have a couple of school trips that need paying for so some will be directed towards those. Supermarket spends remain low and we are still running the freezer down. I won a takeaway on fb so am ordering that on Friday for dinner.
Healthwise the virus has lifted but I'm still getting headaches. Was pain free most of the day yesterday but went to bed with a slight headache and woke with it in full force. It has thankfully lifted during the day and I'm hoping it doesn't come back!

Another day another headache. Had one everyday for 3 weeks now! Have let my self care go a bit so will focus on that and prioritise it. Off to the gym in the morning - no excuses!
Had take away prize for dinner, it was delicious and we have leftovers. Will have a roast on Sunday so that's the weekends meals already planned. I've eaten soup for lunch all week so spends have been kept to a minimum.
Payday today and a few spends incurred. £11 for party cost do ds, £21 spent on some handmade decorations which I was going to order anyway at some point then spotted they were doing 25% off today.
Still have some money shuffling to do but did manage a 95p tilly tidy this morning. Tomorrow I must set up boiler care again, boiler playing up and have realised it's 6 years old now and I don't fancy any big repair bills! Shower connected to mains hot water too so we're scuppered if it breaks down. Also made some decisions around savings pots as I'm often too quick to just overpay everything. We currently have at least £300 a month to save which I have been directing to the credit card. Possible plan is the rule of 3's a few people on here follow so £100 each to mortgage/debt/savings seems a good idea.
Am planning a productive weekend so wish me luck!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
