Is there anyway in which i can do this?
I need to change a flight from febuary to december this year.
I booked it through dial a flight and they said with all the charges will be like 200 - 300 quid.
And basically after december i have no where to live, currently have no job although im looking, so i have no money so cant afford to pay for the change.
Maybe if i contacted emeriates directaly?
Any help would be great! thanks!

Yes, providing you have paid mega-bucks for a fully flexible ticket, which I somehow doubt...0 -
Unlikely that you'll get any different answer unfortunately. Looks like you'll need to pay the fees to change the dates.....Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0

from your other posts I take it you are travelling back from Oz to UK. I believe Emirates charge £75 + difference in fare. December is peak time so would have been more expensive anyway (would not be fair if someone chose a £600 date instead of an £800 date then expected to move to the £800 date for the change fee only)
You are quite fortunate you can do this, many airlines allow no changes and refunds and you would be left buying a new ticket from scratch0 -
Only problem is i litilary have no money lol
Ah well. ill have to find a job or find somewhere free to live
Either way im sure ill work something out, thanks anyway guys0 -
is the flight an outward portion of a ticket, or is it a return portion? if it is the return portion of a ticket, like mentioned above EK are very good at offering amendments, however subject to any difference in fare.
however if it is an outward portion, thats a totally different matter, as the outward portions are usually non-refundable.
have you asked what the cancellation charges are for the ticket. it may be that you can cancel and get some money back from the EK ticket (although be careful as airline refunds can take upto 12 weeks), and then look for alternative airlines that may allow a cheaper flight out in december (but try get out early december - usually b4 10/12, as prices rocket with most airlines after that date)

Yeh its a outward flight, and looking on internet it looks like all the flights are double what i paid for a return!
