Moving to a new area and benefits?

Hello, this is quite involved so please bear with me!
I currently work for a company up North and am on long term sick getting SSP as I have IBS.
I recently moved in with my partner as she had offered to look after me however this is not working out.
I am thinking of leaving the area totally to be near family down south, however this will mean quitting my job officially.
I have just about enough to get a deposit and a first months rent down in a new rented house down south but after that I am going to be struggling.
Is there any benefit help at all i can get or are all doors shut the moment i voluntarily leave my job?
Many thanks

You may be able to claim ESA. And housing benefit, how much will depend on your age. You can check out the LHA rates here https://lha-direct.voa.gov.uk/Secure/LHARateSearch.aspx?SearchType=PostCode and also how to calculate the amount of bedrooms you need. You can rent a house as big as you like but the maximum LHA they will pay is the rates quoted there. And you have to make up the shortfall0

I don't think IBS is serious enough to claim ESA? (I may be wrong though.)"fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts." (Bertrand Russell)0
