And here's me trying to declutter, thinking it will be several weeks before my house is tidy enough to ask EA's round to value it-perhaps I won't bother!
  • I thought it was a repo but they would have taken the flat-screen tv and all their relatively good stuff, wouldn't they?

Yes I agree. Very, very odd!

When it's a repo, a lot of people don't actually pack and leave, but wait until the bailiffs turf them out - so they can literally only take what they can get out the door in the next hour or so ... and there's no time to arrange removals, not that they could probably afford them. So repo property does often have big stuff in it.

I notice they were big on washing their clothes though! Odd to live in a pigsty, yet be so fastidious over washing clothes.
  • Yep..obvious repossession. Nothing that can't be cleared away and emptied. As a previous poster said, all it would take is a skip and a couple of gallons of bleach.

That is really odd though. You do get the opportunity to go back for belongings after repo so that amount of 'stuff' I wouldn't say was usual at all.

Don't mind a flat screen tv being thrown in for the price but I wonder if Brighthouse will be knocking on the door looking for that as well soon :(
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • Mmmm, the duvet-cover-as-curtains style of hobo chic.

No, I didn't mean boho chic, I meant hobo.

There's a reason that fridge-freezer is taped up and it's not a good one.

    Nice stereo speakers though.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
