Ames - DH said there's no problem with calling the insurers tomorrow, you've informed the police so there's nothing else you need to do for now.

    Hope you're ok.

Thanks Pooky, I'm fine though a bit shaken up. It's just lucky that fire brigade truck was driving past, they took control cos I don't think me or the other guy would have known what to do, we'd never been in an accident before.

I think I need a cup of sweet tea, my hands are really shaking. I'll give it an hour and call my sister for some sympathy.

Oh no Ames, what happened? As long as the police know and you've got the other person's details then you're fine to sort it tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Traffic was slowed down ahead so I stopped to let someone out of a junction and the bike behind ran into me, I just felt it and looked in the mirror to see him on the floor. It was really slow speed though and no damage at all. We were both just shocked. The police aren't taking it any further and said to just leave it up to the insurance. I was really scared it was my fault but they said not.

Nope, I'm watching Two and a Half Men and playing FB mahjongg.

And counting down to when I can have a stiff drink.

Ames, don't under estimate the shock from an accident, however minor. Take it easy.

I've finished my curtains, made a door stop (piccies on blog) and cooked a rather yummy dinner of sausage and bacon bake (sausage meat and bacon bits whizzed up with carrot and onion and baked in a loaf tin), with freshly picked beans from the garden (when will they ever end, I'm sick of beans now and the freezer is full of them), roasted cherry tomatoes (picked from the garden) with garlic and balsamic vinegar dressing, new potatoes (picked from Mr T's) and a very large rum and coke.

    Jimjams time!
