There is about 4,600 tonnes in Fort Knox. Not 8 tonnes, which is barely enough to make a charm bracelet for the Queen.

Because it's not all theirs - they hold gold securely for other nations as well.

It's not in the US interest (or anyone else's) for people to know how much they are holding and for whom.

I would say it has been confirmed that the gold is not there by now. Unless they got it all back up and kept it quiet.

Russias so corrupt I wouldnt be surprised if the governments murdered all the reporters on the case and has recovered all the gold for itself, keeping it all hushed up of course.
