Amazon - Pricing an Item

Thinking about selling some old DVD's etc on Amazon. What would you suggest on how to price it? Should I go in lower than other sellers or price higher and reduce it after a while if it doesn't sell?
I'm new on Amazon so have no feedback, would this put buyers off?

Hi there
There is a thread here about selling on Amazon, there is a section on price matching, not undercutting as this starts a price lowering scenario where all sellers will lose out. As you say you can always reduce the price at a later date.
Being new isn't a problem you just need to sound as if you know what you're doing, fill in the description for the item, don't leave it blank, this is where new sellers often go wrong, the item with the best description will sell over one that is just put in the category of 'like new' or 'very good' - sell it with words, so long as they are all honest!0
