Great Freebie when you pre order Nintendo Wii

I pre-ordered my Nintendo Wii today at Game Station, and was pleasantly surprised to be given a free collectors edition Legend of Zelda game, with four Zelda games on one Gamecube disk. I don't have a gamecube but was assured that the game will play on the Wii when it is released in December.
Not sure if I've posted this in the right place, am a complete newbie so grateful for any guidance / feedback.
Thanks!

Thanks for the post. If I pre-order Wii, I'll probably go with Gamestation now. That collectors disc regular fetches around £15-20 on eBay - not that I'd sell it, but at least it isn't like its a worthless freebie.0

Did you have to put a deposit down to pre-order the wii and how much?0

This would be nice if Nintendo weren't profiteering on the cost of the console. Looking at the price in America the "exchange" rate is $ to the £. No doubt the usual excuses will come out but apart from power adaptors and region encoding (which is used to stop cheap games coming in) there is no justification. Personally I wouldn't touch one with a bargepole until prices were more balanced. If everyone did the same companies would think twice about this practice that has happened with every console in the UKA shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

What are you expecting Nintendo to do? sell you it for the cost of production?
Its the cheapest 3rd generation console out there with a pretty unique selling point.
How much is it selling for in USA?0 -

Not profiteering doesn't mean you sell it for the cost of production, did I say they were selling it at cost in America?
The USA prices have not yet been finalised but Nintendo have confirmed it will be sub $250 with speculation it will be $199.A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I didnt say profiteering was to sell for the cost of production, you said it would be nice if Ninetendo werent profiteering on the console.
I replied with how much do you want them to charge on the console, low enough so they make no profit. If consoles are not in huge demand after release there wouldn't be a need to put high prices on them, they are basically controlling the supply.
And did I say you were selling at cost in America? that was a general question. Since viewtiful said the console is £125 in US, slap VAT on that and add on the game value, pretty close to £180.0
