I worked at what is reputed to be the most expensive block of flats in Europe today which is in a very exclusive part of London

The residents can opt to pay for their own car parking space in the blocks car park at a cost of....£150k per space per year I kid you not.

The car park was awash with exotics eg Mclarens, Ferraris, Bentleys, Astons etc etc. What amused us most were there were normal cars parked eg smart cars, minis and basic BMWs.

The most exotic cars were either under covers or were covered in dust, I guess the owners use their apartment as a holiday home

The client we worked for had decided to take four spaces for their cars.

Most rich people have a few cars a few regular !!!!!! cars to do the miles in and a few top sports cars to show off in which can explain the cheaper cars in the car park.

£150k For a parking space....now that I dont believe. Forget believing I cannot understand that, why the hell would someone pay so much for a parking space. Either the cars worth a million plus or the people are stupid or this isn't true. I doubt many rich people got there from being stupid any idiot can see that 150k for a year to store your car which probably averages 200k in cost. Id rather let people vandalise the car and claim off the damn insurance which is probably gona be less than 150k a year LOL.

I assure you each car space is £150k per year, the apartments are for the very very super rich.

It's not 1 Hyde Park place, but is very close and when 1 Hyde Park Place is finished apparently that will take over as the most expensive real estate in Europe

I doubt a premier league footballer would be able to afford to live in this place

I find London weird, I've been in loads of the underground parking places and seen the forgotten Ferrari's and Rollers.

And then in the complete opposite, I work for a guy who drives around in a brand new Bentley.

I live in Central London and the parking in my flats is just over £3K a year. Like a lot of places I have been to, theres a vast collection of cars in here that could be in a museum- some bloke had a brand new Ferrari 430 Scuderia delivered in November last year and to my knowledge it hasnt moved, now with a load of dust on it. Shame really, I would happily give him ten grand for it!
