buy a camera, Amazon or Dabs

I am thinking of buying a camera

They are currently the same price but I can get £10 code for Dabs and 3% cashback. Making Dabs cheaper.

For the about £18 saving at Dabs should I go for that or still get from Amazon.

I have used amazon many times and used customer service over a faulty item before and had no problems.

Any advice

At the end of the day it's your call but you are spot on with how good Amazon are with returns and the Dabs of this world can be less helpful. I've had no personal problems with Dabs I hasten to add but I've seen the odd moan and have had an issue some time ago with eBuyer who to me at least are a similar outfit and that stopped me using them for some time.

What it realy boils down to is what are the odds on there being anything wrong with it? I'd put those odds as low and go with the saving myself.

    Thanks Kwikbreaks.

I would have hoped for a few more comments. I used Dabs to build a computer about 12 yrs ago, still works, But other than ordering and a delivery of the items I never needed to talk to Customer service, and 12 yrs is a long time and a company can go from good to bad, vice versa easily in that time.

  • Your rights are preserved in the law , however the service you get is not. I have never used Dabs but I know many who have, at the end of the day (soon approaching...;)) you make the call if it is £1000 cam then go what you know failing that if its 300 then thats 6% saving and your rights are still the same.

i got a barebones computer from dabs a few years ago and it was faulty when i recieved it, they sent a courier to pick it up and sent me a replacement so i wouldn't have a problem reccomending dabs.
