Help. Can not uninstall MCafee

I tried to uninstall Mcafee cause I dont want it anymore, but when I went to control panel and uninstall it and re booted the thing is still there in my system. I read its a hard anti virus to uninstall.

Can anyone help me here to uninstall the thing properly?

Plus I cant install AVG properly either, I think Mcafee is stopping it somehow.

Use removal tool for AVG http://www.avg.com/gb-en/download-tools

Then Download AVAST, AVIRA or MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS for a decent free antivirus.

I completely agree with dogmaryxx's comments above. I'd go with avira and also add malwarebytes too.

Thank you very much for your help, that did it. Cause when I did it the normal way control panel uninstall etc, it wasnt having it, but this program you gave me did it. thanks.
