Survey missed "movement"

WIf i ask for the report from the lender are they likely to give it to me so i can at least show the original surveyor something and try and get some money back ?
I would say your surveyor would only agree to a refund providing they can confirm the movement.
Unless the sellers agree to them popping in to take a look I don't fancy your chances.
Forgive me for asking but how has it cost you £13K?
If you like the house could you not ask the seller to hold fire until your surveyors have checked (I presume FOC)?0 -
He pulled out becuase hes making a go of it with his girlfriend apparently, but he had already caught wind of the movement by this time as the estate agent has called him.
I know it hasnt cost us 13k , but 13k was beter as financial backing than it was paid off the mortgage, its only saving us £80 per month. I would prefer the 13k at the minute.0
