first time poster so youll have to ber with me.:)

I have recently just applied for a santander zero card.
i have noitced to my credit file has been searched today so i am now waiting on a decision from them.

i have previously been declined for credit cards in the past year due to a notice of correction that was on my file that i was unaware off.
The notice of correction that was on my file was something that infact refered to my mum, it was something she added to her profile as she suspected she had fradulent attempts for credit on her account.

I have since contacted credit expert who have no removed this notice of correction hence why i have reapplied 6 months down the line for the zero card.

i was just wondering what is the likleyhood of me being accepted for this card. I have a clean credit file no late payments including an o.d with Allience&leceister(which is now santander) a credit card with vanquis where by the balance is paid each month in full and a mobile phone contract.

I do have 8 previous searches in the past year showing on my credit file due to the notice of correction error mentioned earlier in the post. 4 of which have been in the last 3 months. this does include the zero card app.

I do hold my current account with santander so additional to my credit file they will have a internal scoring aswell wont they?

thankyou
Dan

Why sweat it, you'll find out soon enough. Good luck with it, but only worry about things within your control.
I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven

Although three searches in as many months may put some creditors off - it is pushing it a little.

If they do say no, don't feel bad - just wait until you've had no searches for a good 3+ months before applying elsewhere.

The Halifax Clarity is a great card comparable (to a certain extent) with the Zero card but from a much more reputable financial institution :o

I also work for the santander group aswell, so hopefully this may sway it my favour, but i suppose ill just have to wait and see what happens, keep plugging away at my vanquis paying the full balance to keep those green dots mounting up. :)

Where does it say that? Sounds like rubbish to me.

Do you live in the UK permanently and have a UK credit record? If not thats why, I highly doubt they hate Americans for no apparent reason.
