I have a belkin54g wireless set up.I understand that it has a built in firewall.Please tell me if that is enough protection and if I should install another firewall.

It is always idea to use a software firewall as well, but the router should block all inbound attempts before it gets to your PC.
Have you encrypted your router with WPA?

A Hardware firewall will be fine and stop any hackers getting in your computer

Software firewalls will only stop informationg being sent out but as long as your not going on dodgy websites you don't have to worry about things like that
