I am now being tempted by Butti's big TV...

I want to go to bed but the tv in the bedroom is so tiny compared to the one downstairs that I need binoculars to see whats going on..

and I want to go to bed and watch poirot with a glass of wine.

When I used to do the PR at the hospital I once did something about some new colonoscopy equipment (nice story, huh?!) and boy....the length of the camera in a tube thingy.......think Terry Wogan and his long Blankety Blank microphone :eek::rotfl:

Yeah, it is a long camera tube. It's fun to watch the screen though, I kept expecting an alien to leap out. It is odd though having a guy with his finger in a *ahem* sensitive place talking about his wife and kids.

Sammy, I agree with him about the scale and polish though, I had a filling without anaesthetic with no problem, but the cleaning part was awful!

Ames - how on earth do you have it done without a sedative? Twice I can remember either shouting in pain, or last time, wriggling around! and that was with a high sedation.

The scale hurt a LOT more....cos the evil woman was going under the gum line and got all this black crap out, so it was needed. But I did brave a filling with no anaesthetic so my mouth felt like it was mine for once.

Just give me lots of notice so I can stress about making sure the house is regimentally clean!!!! (well, the horrible, nasty, embarrassing bathroom at least!!)

Sometimes, timing is perfect. I was feeling quite sad and being a sentimental wuss over my old house and then got a lovely phone call.
