Thanks mrweetabix.
We are going on Constellation again soon - booked it ages ago (year ago at least and paying far more than the offer you highlighted), lovely ship. I shall keep an eye on your posts for all cruise offers, maybe just maybe I can manage to get another cruise in before the end of the year. I have nothing booked for November yet.0 -
Thanks PJRAN.
At least somebody appreciates my efforts!
If you can think of anymore info you want adding to these deals let me know.
Our next cruise is with Celebrity Millenium in Feb around the Caribbean. Have done Eclipse and Galaxy.
You have a top cruise.0 -

Celebrity Constellation is now so uncared-for, that you would have to pay me to sail on it. OK if you you have never cruised before and have nothing to compare-with.0
-
Forgot to say the Millennium is even worse. Ask Celebrity whay happened on this boat in Sydney (December 2008) - never again.0
-
I have to agree with Travellerboy's comments about the Millennium. The boat is in desperate need of a major refit not just a cosmetic makeover. The ship has more breakdowns than any others on the high seas.
I cruised on this tub last year, never ever again. I only have myself to blame, as I should have realised what it would be like when the prices are so low, even cheaper than a Thompson Cruise.
In this life you generally get what you pay-for!!!0 -

I must admit I have not been on her since her cosmetic refurb, but don't understand why cruises on Constellation are still so cheap?
Has it anything to do with Novovirus, or am I missing something?0 -
Yes Constellation has been Solticised and has had a massive overhaul.
I was on that cruise in Sydney when the lights went out!! BUT I went to bed at around 11.30 and missed all the drama. The first I knew of it was when my breakfast didn't arrive and I called my Cabin Steward who told me there was no hot food or drinks and that the Ocean View cafe was open for breakfast of a sort.
X is still a great product and I have been the Solstice last year in the Med and this year in the Caribbean doing a btb in May/June
I have also sailed on Galaxyx1 Centuryx2 Summit x2 Millenniumx3 and I just love the product.
I think that anyone who can get a 7 night cruise at the above prices has to be a great deal. I am heading off to Australia in November for 8 weeks so not able to do this cruise.
