what is your experience on changing provider?

Im thinking of changing from b gas and eon,but worried that ill make the wrong decision and it could end up being costly. Ive not worked my bgas out yet but eon in the last year ive used 5153kw and on my last bill the charges were the first 207 20.02p and then for the remainder of 736 it was 10.05p. We were on econ 7 but on speaking on here and to eon i was not benefiting from it as i dont have storage heaters and didnt put things on in the night (only because our washing flooded once before and incase of electrical faultys that could cause a fire) friends hubby a fireman. The didnt change my meter but class it as a standard tariff.
