    Thanks, I'm sure that will be useful to people.
    However, my experience of this scheme wasn't good.
    The local solicitor I saw wanted to charge me quite a bit on top of the donation.
    He then never sent the draft will for approval, and never got in touch.
    (Having promised to send it in 10 days or so, this went on for a couple of months.)
    Eventually I sent a stroppy letter saying not to bother, and went to see another local solicitor - who charged me less than the 'extra' the first one wanted to charge.

    I'm sure this isn't typical - but make sure you know what normal local prices are for your kind of will, before you get involved.
