RE: Cooker hood in the kitchen. Leasehold flat

Hi All,
I'm in the process of buying a leasehold flat. I'm looking to install a new kitchen with a vented cooker hood. Obviously, this would require making a ventilation hole in the external kitchen wall.

My question is, how can I go about doing this? Do I need permission from the service management company, leaseholder etc? How do I find out? Please share your knowledge and experiences.

thanks in advance

You will need permission from the landlord/management company - details will be in the lease

Speak with your legal advisor for the details to be explained to you before you sign up
