funding our travels

Mrs Luckyme and I are off on our long term travels next year.
We are both 53 and will need an income of approx. £8-10k per annum (we are very cheap to run). We will have cash assets of £120k including isa's of £9k each and a house worth £140k.
We want to keep the paperwork to a minimum as we wont be here to juggle accounts, money, answer letters etc. and we are undecided whether to rent out or sell the house. My personnal preference is to sell (less bother).
I am considering a combination of 5% + cash bonds, high yield shares and equity income funds. We will probaby stay resident for tax purposes in case we need health sevices.
What are the thoughts or suggestions of you good people ?
Thanks from luckyme.

We are hoping to travel untill we tire of it (We've spent 10 of the last 25 years travelling in Asia). We will probably stay long term in several countries. If we have to return to the uk we will buy something then. Otherwise we will retire abroad. We sure as hell are giving up our jobs - I'm self employed.
