Hello all,
Am currently serving in the RAF and have just passed my 20 year point of 22yrs. Have passed all the promex exams just over six months ago but am still waiting for an offer to LOS30. Is anyone else in the same boat, how long have people waited in the past before receiving the offer. With the SDSR looming starting to become a little concerned. Spoke to PSF but little coming back from them.
Any thoughts?

Get your PSF to give ****** a call at CoE. His number is 95221 5036. Tell him when you passed your IMLC and TMT2(or equivalent depending on trade) and ask if there is any delay on your LOS 30 offer. They are extremely busy and 6 months is not an unusually long time to wait for the offer. They normally do send it quite quickly when hastened though.:j

Everyone is holding back till October, they have no idea what the cuts are going to be, although they are expected to be substantial. No trade manager in his right mind is going to start offering extensions of service when he may be required to lose posts in the very near future.
Natural wastage is the preferred option for the career managers.0 -
Just an update on the first post. After badgering PSF for the last few weeks, finally got the reply that I was after. My LOS30 will be through by the end of this week. Big relief and a bit more stability for the next ten years. Can finally get our lives back on track.
Thanks all.Debt free Nov 11 :j0
