Halifax Sharebuilder Markets

Options
Hi Savers!

I have recently applied to open a Halifax Sharebuilder account and would like to hear from some current users if possible?

Have dabbled in shares here and there and also have a stocks & share ISA to which I pay the lower ISA limit on a monthly basis. So not completely inexperienced!

My question is, what markets are available to trade on using the Halifax Sharebuilder i.e. are the FTSE AIM or FTSE Small Cap available to select stocks? Given the lower purchasing costs I would greatly prefer to use the Sharebuilder to provide greater opportunity to profit :)

Thanks in advance,
Coeus.

You have bought the product. So, you probably know more about it than those that havent.

Thanks but please read carefully, I have bought no product. I have APPLIED for the product and are awaiting the T&C's as well as introduction packs.

Alot of talk on the forums about the sharebuilder account so I was hoping to learn of other people in advance.

Sorry. When you said "applied to open" I assumed that you had applied to open one.

Given the lack of responses here, you could ask Halifax your questions. It may be quicker.

  • They do take emails thats why its a good account. You can buy any ftse stock pretty much, it'll tell you otherwise.
Ive heard or seen uk? stocks sold in dollars, stuff like that wont be covered but I presume its not really a ftse stock
