How can I stop cats scratching my trampoline?

The local cats keep scratching at the trampoline - shredding the foam bar covers and it appears to be climbing up the netting. What can I do to stop it? Thanks!

Or maybe you can try sprinkling some citronella around to try deter it from coming in......otherwise, just try shoo it away until it gets the message.0 -
my mother in law puts orange peel around her flower beds to stop my cats digging up in there and it works so maybe its to do with the strong smellnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0
