Lloyds TSB - Creditcard PPI

once again, they declained my claim, stating that it was optional when i applied, therefore they can't refund me the charges, also i complained about not receiving the ploicy docs-reply from them saying they have confident that they sent out all the docs, also the PPI states on my statement each month, which i would've called and clarified the details whether it was sold in my best interest as they have 24 hr helpline.therefore declaining my claim, this is their final response, i could go to to FOS if i wish. I am thinking of complaining to FOS. whats the next step shall i take? can someone help me please?

    Hi There

That is a standard reply do not be concerned. If you feel you have been mis sold then take it to the FOS. Go onto their web site and download the form for reclaiming PPI. You may have to wait quite a while e.g. I have been waiting 2 1/2 years now but some have been seen earlier. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

In my opinion it seems they reject more credit card ppi complaints than loan ppi cases, but yes I would do as Maxdp says, take them to the FOS now and remember to enclose all copies of correspondence you have, good luck.;)
