Hi
Yes Tesco are offering some good rates at the moment. I suspect that UK Insurance who administer/underwrite the policy and are part of RBS Insurance, are trying to buy in as many policies as they can, to hit the relevant targets that there contract with Tesco requires. As you may know RBS Insurance lost the contract with Tesco and from October 2010 Tesco will be offering policies underwritten by Fortis.
For what it is worth I think generally the policy and service are ok. I think I would trust RBS Insurance a bit more than some other companies e.g Aviva, Morethan. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
