in Techie Stuff
I've just bought a new mobile phone and they gave me a free MP3 player.
Does anyone know an easy way to get stuff onto it? I've downloaded Juice and iTunes but it's all so muddling, I seem to be able to download to Juice and then hope that iTunes see the download and then I have to try to get it onto the MP3 player. I can't seem to find any easy buttons that just say "send to MP3 player" or something somple like that. I've managed to get two podcasts onto the player but I went about it in such a long round the houses way, it took an hour and now I can't remember what I did!
Is there any program that is for less techie people?
Thanks in advance!!

I just use the software that came with my mp3 player to transfer or windows media player. Itunes won't transfer directly to your mp3 player unless it's an apple ipod."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

When you plug in the MP3 player, it should appear on your drive list as a Removable drive.
From there, as espresso says, you should be able to drag and drop or copy and paste you music files into your MP3 player.Dave. :wave:0 -
Thanks for the suggestions, at least I now know how to get music into it!
What I need to know is where do I paste the URL of a podcast?:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0 -

For podcasts, you could try Podcast Ready and their software Mypodder.
Rather than downloading to your computer and syncing it over, you put Mypodder on the root of your mp3 player.
Mypodder sucks podcasts directly onto the mp3 player - In fact when you plug it into your computer, Mypodder should spring into action auto-downloading latest episodes (if you've configured it that way in the settings)0
