Parking eye fine

We went to Weston Super Mare Pizza Hut 07.08.10, entered my hire car reg details into their machine, had the worse pasta meal I've ever had because of long delay in service/congealed food but didnt complain just put it down to experience vowing never to return.
On sat 28/8/10, I received a parking fine from a company called Parking Eye for £110 for exceeding a 20 min stay in the Pizza Hut car park (20 mins? I wish the service had been that good!!!) I paid cash for the meal and stupidly didnt keep my receipt so contacted Pizza Hut head office by email and told them had no intention of paying and they needed to sort it with their Weston Super Mare branch from their till/car registration machine records.
It gets worse as today received an invoice from the hire car company for £31.00 stating admin fee for passing on my details to Parking Eye which they have taken from my credit card used to hire the car.
How can I get this money back - could I request Pizza Hut reimburse me this fee? Sorry to burble on but am so upset at being made to pay out for not having committed any offence - thanks in advance

You will need to write to the car hire firm stating that this an invoice and is not legally binding, thus you need a refund. You only acknowledge council tickets and police parking tickets and ask for a refund. You will need to look through your terms and conditions as well.
On the other note just ignore the letters from the parking company.
I would personally go down the route of writing a complaint to Pizza Hut in regards to the poor service and also the parking ticket and invoicing them the £31 for the fee.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

We need to see the exact terms of the hire agreement which address this issue.0
