ok...just thought I'd give you all a good laugh!

Just had the iphone delievered and I said to my hubby "ohhh it's ok...I'll cut the sim to fit..I've seen it on youtube!"
so away I go chopping up my hubby's sim...put it in...nothing!
so then I thought...maybe it's the wrong way around? I'll chop the other corner and flip it over....nothing!
opppssss!!!!

so off I trot all the way back down to the vodafone shop to explain what I've done (yes..they are laughing at me too) and luckily they were very nice and gave me a new sim (for free) which I can then transfer the old number too (or you can keep the new number) :T

so....I rush back home "oh it's ok I got a new micro sim and all you have to do is phone vodafone to get the old number back!"

...I put the microsim in and then realise...the metal bit faces down not upwards...."hang on...let me just put the old sim upside down first"
OMG...it works!!!! :o:o

so...chop carefully and make sure the metal bit faces down when you push it in!

Oh dear!

Got my iPhone this morning. Cheered my day up no end. Now just got to wait for my microsim from o2 (don't want to chop mine up as don't trust myself!) and cover.

Yes you are lucky, the vadafone shop in Northampton could not have been more unhelpful to me. They have now lost a loyal costomer.

Ouch- thats awful news elfmay.
It was getting later and later and I thought that it was going to happen to me aswell. I just reckoned that I had used up all my luck just winning it and that if it could possibly be delayed in any way, then it would!!!

Will keep my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Its so much harder to be patient knowing that its soooooo close. It will be worth the wait.
