Most people use Auto Trader online. "Most" is a relative term.
The site is very user friendly and loads of people search it, if you can bear a little effort, it is good. I believe there is a "Sell" options if you want to offload it once you input the details but it may not be the best price.Marry a Foreigner, its so much cheaper!0 -

CarArena.co.uk is a new company in this field and works, a bit like a price comparison site, in the way that it will get you a whole host of offers from different dealers, and is completely free.
DealerBid.co.uk works the same way, but have recently started charging a fiver for adding you details.
These sort of websites should ensure you receive a much better offer than the traditional car buying companies who only give you one offer!0 -
I definately know where you are coming from with wbac
I got a couple of prices from the following if any help -
trademymotor.co.uk
webuyanycars.co.uk
dealerbid.co.uk
I ended up selling to a main dealer eventually who made me an offer through the dealerbid site "crosslands vehicle sales" in huntingdon they were really good and collected and didnt mess about trying to change the price.

Thanks for suggestions...........starting using the free site suggested and have just received my first offer which was lower than webuyanycar - who I wouldnt even consider!
It is only the first offer so I'll hang in there and see if anything better comes along.0 -
What car is it you're selling?0
-
It's a 56 plate Merecedes C160 Kompressor SE Coupe.
I was offered 8K last week as a trade in but the figure from the site is more than 1500 below0 -
Just sold my car in 8 hours on an Ebay classified listing- £14.99 with no final payment
i allowed best offers within 20% of my price and someone offered £100 less and came with cash the next day
FAR less stress than an Ebay auction listing
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, its just possible you haven't grasped the situation0
