Parking fine

I received a parking fine while parking in a St Peters Wharf retail park, Maidstone as there was a 2 hour parking limit which I exceeded. I shopped solely within the retail park but spent more like 3 hours there (which included lunch and a nappy change for my 20 month old son). I didnt see the signs and also feel that 2 hours is insufficient. I have written to Euro Car Parks to appeal this but am waiting a response. Unfortunately I only found out about your website after I posted my letter. Is there anything else I can do or should I just wait for a reply.

Will save the anticipation from Euro Car Parks
" After careful consideration your appeal has been unsuccessful!
What that means is , "we dont actually have an appeals process we deny everything!"
Just ignore any and all correspondances from now on you went shopping so loss to retail park is nil.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

File all further correspondance in the closest bin.

What you have is not a fine but an unenforceable speculative invoice.
I can predict their reply: "Your appeal has been rejected."
There is no such thing as an appeal process with these parasites, they just want your money.
Do not contact them again and ignore all correspondence from them.
The Euro letter chain can be found in this thread, so you will know what to expect.0
