I started a thread on that very subject about a year ago but I can't find it now. Basically someone said that they used to work in a company which ran a comp and all the entries went in together whether they had ticked the yes button or not. Then people started comparing what they had won and it came to the conclusion that it didn't make much difference. I've won quite a few things and I've hardly ever said yes to more information.

I'd agree with Black-saturn. I always say no to extra info/newsletters and have won 8 times so it doesn't effect it at all.
  • Hi, a quick question, do you hand write your details on your entries, hand type your details with online comps or is there a quicker way to do it that i have not thought about???
    thanks

Hello Ang, to answer your question - if you asked 10 people you will have 10 diffrent answers. With the comps on line sometimes if I press the first letter, the computer will fill out the rest, ie. my name. Other times the computer does not play and I have to type in every letter.
With comps on a post card I use to hand write it all, now I hand write their name and address/answer to the question if required. A small sticky label with my name/address/mobile no. on the other side with a hand written best wishes above.

    Best Wishes...Good Luck...
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
