Quick question, my taskbar has suddenly become a double decker bar, have done nothing to allow this and cannot get it back to just a single bar, how do I do this?
Have tried various things but to no avail, taskbar was locked at the time.
Thanks

Right click and see if it's locked. If it is, unlock it and then click and drag to the size you want.Apparently I'm 10 years old on MSE. Happy birthday to me...etc0

Unlock taskbar and drag it with your cursor downwards."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Had already done that, it just dissappears off the screen, i.e it will not decrease?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Try Taskbar Repair Tool or the individual tweaks on that page.0

It asks to "click the repair button", but as this is greyed out, it seems it needs a key purchase?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Yes, some options require purchase. Try the appropriate individual tweak downloads.0

Tried that but it just gave me a gobbledegook window.
What has happened is that the quick launch toolbar is sitting above the taskbar, I can remove the Q L toolbar but would prefer it alongside the taskbar as it was earlierDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Try going to Start, Settings, Task Bar & Start Menu, uncheck Quick Start Launch, click Apply and then try to re-enable the Quick Start Launch again afterwards. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
