Hi
sorry if this has been asked before:
Has anyone got any advice about where to get public liability insurance for a one off charity event?
This seems to be quite expensive and is putting me off getting involved. I was planning on doing a cake sale with some friends but have been asked for public liability certificate.

PL insurance for an individual would be very expensive - you need to contact the charity to see if they will cover you.0

Who is asking for the certificate? Agree that the charity may well already have such cover in place, and you need to alert them to your plans in any case!Signature removed for peace of mind0
