I have a lot of stuff to get rid of and want to list some of it on freecycle. In the past, listing stuff on freecycle has meant that I've started getting lots of spam to my email address.
I want to find a way to create a temporary email address that I can use just for freecycle and then delete when I've finished working through my clutter.
Yahoo groups will let me create aliases, but they all list my real email address. btinternet.com will let me create sub-accounts, but then Yahoo groups won't let me use one for my group profile - it just says I can't have a second yahoo address listed.
Can anyone suggest a way round this?
Why does yahoo make this so difficult? I would have thought loads of people would want to belong to a group without broadcasting their main email address. Surely I'm not the only one?

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Make up an email address on Gmail, hotmail yahoo, gmx, etc - really easy.
Just bung in any old info you want and when you are finished close the email account
I did this on yahoo.
You have to do it as a totally "new" person as it were, with no links back to your real email.0 -
Re register for freecycle using a throw away address.0

I use several gmail accounts for various things like shopping, potential spam, personnel etc its good pretty good spam filters
If you post your email address on net make sure you do it like this myemailaddress @ gmail. com or something along them lines so web spiders that trawl sites dont use it0
