thanks for the replies guys i thought it was eight weeks but on the letter from welcome it says they have 6 weeks to replie,i will give the number a go.thanks for your help.

I see what you mean, just a thought was it because they already had hold of your complaint for 2 weeks which left them with 6 weeks?

If so give them a quick ring and ask them if they are actually dealing with this matter now, because you've heard nothing up to now.

But then make sure any offers are sent in written correspondence, just in case they tried this on the phone.;)

Got a phone call from a manager at Welcome today and my case has been looked at today and definately upheld!!!!!! HORAAY! Getting a refund in the regions of £5500! Will wait and see the breakdown and take it from there. Thanks for all your help guys, this site is so helpful x

how long did it take until Welcome Finance replied back to your original query? I sent mine 1st class recorded delivery, they signed for it on the 19th August, but I've still had no response back?

My completed questionnaire was received by them back in mid July, and I phoned them on Tuesday as I hadn't heard from them, the only way I got a result was that I was given mis-leading information on Tuesday, long story, but I said I was not happy about what had happened bla de bla and they looked at my claim today and phoned me just after 5pm. It is a slow process but hang in there x

Got a cheque from welcome today for £3,431.96.also a letter telling me my loan was cleared and that i no longer need to make any more payments,I'm so happy i could cry.
its took just six weeks from sending the letter to receiving my payment.
The money will come in handy to clear my debts and treat the kids.
good luck to all those still waiting.

Wow that's quick for welcome finance, I've noticed some people have waited over the 8 weeks! Congratulations!
