New Kitchen Price

Options
I have just been to a local kitchen supplier near where I live and he has given me a quote of £14000 for a fully bespoke fitted kitchen without worktops and some appliances. my kitchen is 7.5 metre by 5 metre. The kitchen includes:

18mm carcass
180 degrees hinges
soft close damper system
painted high gloss doors NOT vinyl high gloss doors
Fully bespoke, made at their warehouse
NOT including worktop (i am having granite from Al Murad Granite)
Includes Franke Planar 1.5 bowl sink
Bosch sgv53e33gb dishwasher
Bosch DIA096751 hood
Bosch PCR915B91E 90cm gas hob
2 Bosch HMT35m653b microwaves
2 Bosch HBA53b550b ovens
2 pull out larders
2 wire baskets
2 150mm pull out larders
AEG SK918005i larder fridge
AEG AG918504i larder freezer
Franke peak 34cm undermount sink
Professional pull out spring neck tap
Franke Planar chrome tap
Fitting Included

The price for all this came to just £14000 without worktops. It was actually £16000 but with some hard haggling on the prices of appliances it came down to £14k. Moben have given me a price of £18500 excluding worktops and DM Designs have given me a price of £16500 not including appliances and worktops and with their crappy vinyl doors. B&Q also gave me a price of £17000 not including worktops.

Soo is this a good price or can I go for a cheaper kitchen elsewhere?

  • Thats appears to be a good price if they are supplying panels for visible sides to match the lacquered fronts?

yes, it is a fully bespoke kitchen just like Johnson and Johnson Kitchens, The sizes are not standard. The doors and carcasses have been made to my specification so that they specifically fill the room as this cannot be done with standard sizes as you need filler panels etc. And yes, everything is included.

Agreed with ormus. You evidently enjoy tinned reconstituted ham and pork.

No physical or mailing address, mobile contact number only, not listed at Company's House site. Sounds a tad dodgy TBH.

Is this double full stop separator catching like a disease or is there just a single person behind at least three newish forum names?
