    Afternoon all.

i started my new job today and am determined to make a new start, looking after the pennies etc. Saying that, its already been a spender, cos I bought lunch!

    Ah well.
    today I have/will

    -ate breakfast at home
-stocked up on coffee so i don't buy it at work
-got some stocking fillery christmas presents in superdrug whilst they were cheap
-bussed one way, but walking home
-off out for leaving dinner with my old team, but we get company discount
    -check surveys
    -try and do some reviews

will leave it at that for now.
Have a fab afternoon all x

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Does your employer get free electricity then? Or don't you mind stealing it?

This is what everyone who posts uses when they first post, However I don't really understand what your problem is.

    Happy birthday Josie :j

And hope Jonno's baby is better soon. Poor little mite :(

Off work again today :j:j:j but to tell the truth I have been a bit bored :o even though I know it will be a nightmare when I go back on Thursday. Going to see DD1 tomorrow, so won't be bored then, as DGDs will wear me out :D

    I have / will:

HC on line to dry as it has been a lovely day :T

Checked online banking and done accounts as it is the last day of the month - again

Treated the old meat safe I bought at the weekend with anti-woodworm stuff in case there are any still active (very excited about this - the meat safe, not the woodworm :rotfl:

    Watered plants

HM meals - just had lovely sausage and bean stew to use up last of the sausages I made yesterday.

    Walked dogs in the sunshine

Quick shop while out to buy woodworm stuff - just bananas, a pack of reduced mince and some icing sugar

Will make raspberry ice cream in a minute :T

Hannah - I believe Tesco (one of the supermarkets, I think it is Tesco not Asda) does free eye tests even for those of us not on benefits. Hope this helps you or someone else.

Hiya... do you not get free eye tests anyway through nhs? Or is that just in Scotland? :)

  • Hiya everyone,

Sorry so late in posting today, really busy again at work so it slipped my mind :o

Happy birthday Josie, hope you have a great night

DFW things I have done today: -
    • breakfast and lunch to work
    • went for a run at lunch time (last one before the half marathon on Sunday )
    • made HM bread this morning
    • tea should have been per meal planner but DH pleaded for a chinese and I gave in :o ... would have been an NSD apart from that!!!
    • checked on-line banking
That's it for me I think, a fairly short list for me today.

Enjoy your night everyone :) x
