Hi,
I bought a Technika Tv from Morrisons about a year ago and now its started flickering.
I found manual so can contact support, but I cannot find the receipt
Manual does state that I need to keep packaging well that is the first thing I get rid off..
Anyway I did remember I had to fill in a form with my postcode at Morrisons so hoping they kept a record of that.
What are my chances of getting TV replaced or repaired?
Kev

Did you pay cash or card? If you payed by card do you still have the card statements....??0

I did pay by card and have looked at statements but cannot find it.
May contact Morrisons first to see if they can help if not then may have to get a new tv.
The set cannot be a year old

You don't need a receipt, but you do need proof of purchase.
Get a duplicate statement from your card supplier if necesary-it can't not be on the statement if you used that card!
However if it's over 12 months it's now out of warranty.
If you do have to buy a new one, don't buy a Technika-no spares, no service, just anonymous brands badged up for the supermarket trade. Cheap, and now you know why.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
You dont necessarily need a receipt but you do need proof of purchase.
Secondly, because it is over 6 months from purchase, the onus would be on you to prove that the fault is inherent and not through misuse or wear and tear. You can do this by commissioning a report - which you will be able to claim back as part of your costs if found in your favour.
However, before doing any of the above, i would try contacting morrisons and see if they can help you. You may find they do have a record of it and will be willing to help without too much fuss on your part
Keep us updated. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Think that may be the best course of action, not normally so careless with receipts it was a habit to staple them to manuals.. but I was too eager to get the thing set up at the time.
Thanks for your help

Thats very odd, Technika is a Tesco's in house brand. What next, buying ASDA smart price beans in Sainsbury's?Back by no demand whatsoever.0

Maybe that's why the OP can't find a receipt from Morrison's?...No free lunch, and no free laptop0
