Back from Mr T's, spent more than intended :o, that's what comes of having a yattering 12 year old with you.

However....got some bargain canisters for tea and coffee to brighten up the kitchen, some bits of real fish from the cut price shelf for the freezer (healthy fish dinners here we come!), some reasonably priced bits for a baby who will be one year old soon (plate, bowl, cup, spoon and fork), half price Pringles (only time I buy them is when they are half price)......so haven't really done too badly.

Tomorrow definitely will be a NSD, I feel it in me water.......

Oh Nargle, I have just done the same thing at Mr A (minus any 12yr old to blame for my overspend :o) should have enough to last until pay day now, except for tea bags which I forgot and sliced ham as Mr W is the only place I've found where their 'essentials' ham has no added water and is made from outdoor bred pork, without costing the earth.

Did get two xmas presents though for my friends little girls. They have some new 'Rainy Day' craft tubs instore for £3 each so got craft tub for one, and the dough tub for the other. Thought they were really reasonably priced and the fact they come in individual tubs were really useful.

NSD #8 for me today :)

And NSD #120 for my Toiletries/Cleaning budget :D Starting to panic a bit on this one though, as (apart from the part used ones on the holders) I "only" have six toilet rolls left in the house!!! Don't think I've ever had less than 12 before, and it used to be twice that when there were 5 of us....... Keep telling myself that they'll last me several weeks yet (seems to average 1 per person per week unless someone has a tummy bug), but have still come very close to picking up a large bag with my last few shops blush.gif

Tomorrow will be a spend day, as I have a D/Debit due out of the bank.
Quick glance around the kitchen is telling me to pick up milk (roll on the time I have freezer space to keep a supply in), a lettuce, and (possibly) a cucumber while I'm having a non-NSD anyway. Absolutely NO space in the freezer for anything, so must resist the temptation to pick up any Whoopsies that would need putting in them - not that I actually need any meat/fish/pies for the rest of the year (and several weeks/months of 2011) anyway rolleyes.gif

My leg is still slightly sore, but it's my own fault 'cos I have been a naughty girl the last few days...... as I desperately want to get the dog running (so I can combine the 'chore' of walking him with my exercise) I've been running a small section (about a mile) of the shorter (2.25 mile) walking route I use - figure if he's running some of it he doesn't actually need to go quite as far unknown.gif He's certainly flaking just as much when we get home as he does with a gentle 4-5 mile walk, but I realised today I've been doing the run section faster than I'd planned to given my problem

My leg has held up OK with that anyway, so this afternoon I went out to do my 4.42 mile route while making sure I kept to a slow pace by watching my heart rate (I knew that watching my pace would depress me!). I normally do it at 11:15-11:30 mins/mile but todays came in at 12:42/mile, so I did keep it down around where I wanted to...... and it was only in the last third of a mile or so that I felt any pain. Got home, had a good stretching session, then had my second bath of the week (and year!) with muscle soak R@dox again (loving this stuff). Definitely feel better for the soak (ran it deeper today, and read a chunk of a book while I was soaking), so I think I need to resign myself that - for at least the next few weeks anyway - I'm going to be using more water (and more gas to heat it). Was in my jim-jams before 5pm :)

Only problem is that I now feel ready for an evening curled up in front of a film with some good company, but I've had to make do with phoning OH instead :o He's off on his hols tomorrrow until 2nd October, so there'll be no chance for any contact over the next three weeks - and it's already 3 weeks since we managed to spend any time together due to one or the other of us having alternative commitments :(
