  • Managed Friday and Saturday without spending. Don't really know how I managed it. BF collected the sofa so he paid for it (well it is for him but I would have bought it), then we went to have a look round the house and we went to the pub but I hadn't taken purse as didn't know we were going...honestly...x Then stayed in with my DDs all evening so didn't spend a penny. So 7NSDs to report!!! Only 3 to go. Can't believe it, I've never managed the challenge EVER, so hopefully am somewhere on track (while do I feel like these may be famous last words)!!

Today will be a spend day, as DD1 needs ham for her school dinners this week so need to go and get usual packing up stuff. Have a great day everyone. x
  • Can I have one more please spoon

Sorry just updating and running - packing beckons - will catch up soon

Morning...err...I mean afternoon all :) Had a one spend day yesterday as I had my hair appt (honestly, keeping up the 'natural' blonde is a real chore ;)) and that is my budget for the month spent :( oh dear! Need to pop to Mr A today for some food essenntials like...err food....and errr...toilet roll but that will come out of the food budget (me hopes)

Sorry I didn't make the outing last night, we ended up popping to our local for a few beers BUT I did see a real life shooting star (or as romantic me said 'ohhhh look, a meteor shower :rotfl:) on the way home, and I've never ever seen one before so that was tres cool.

Also located a sweet chestnut tree on the walk to the pub so I might go and collect the windfalls and do something with the chestnuts.

Back from Mr T's, spent more than intended :o, that's what comes of having a yattering 12 year old with you.

However....got some bargain canisters for tea and coffee to brighten up the kitchen, some bits of real fish from the cut price shelf for the freezer (healthy fish dinners here we come!), some reasonably priced bits for a baby who will be one year old soon (plate, bowl, cup, spoon and fork), half price Pringles (only time I buy them is when they are half price)......so haven't really done too badly.

Tomorrow definitely will be a NSD, I feel it in me water.......

  • Afternoon all  4 nsd on the run for me :D probably the best for 2 years haha. Got to go on a course for work Monday and Tuesday in Milton Keynes so I have been forced to spend so I can get a hire car and hotel, I do get it back on expenses but its still spending :rotfl: Hardest part is going to be not spending any in the pub at night time but I'll be trying my best

  • Hello. Today is a NSD not got to go any where so no risk of spending today. I am now half way there can't believe i've come this far. 5 more to go should manage a few in the week. Went shopping yesterday with my sister had £100 set aside to buy me new clothes with and came home with and came home with £80. Why is it when you have money to spend on clothes there is nothing nice out there and when you have no money everywhere you go there are nice clothes?
