No NSD for me today as predicted, but we now have a fab new Henry Hoover
and our house is now looking pristine again, so well worth sacrificing my no spendy day for. I'm so easily pleased!
I also found some fab slipper boots which I need now that winter's knocking at the door. I must have rubbish circulation as my feet still feel like ice even with fluffy socks on with normal slippers and it drives me mad (and OH when I try and warm those icicles on him when it's bedtime :rotfl:)
Hoping for a NSD for end of the month tomorrow, this year is zooming by wayyy too quick

Well done Elfen and Slowlyfading - don't drink all the champers at once lol!
Spoony - I am announcing NSD #15 today! that's my second target met...can you send my a nice sheepy please....I make a mean lamb casserole :rotfl::rotfl:
Had coffee at lunchtime with my work friend, but she paid as it was her shout which was nice. Now I've hit my target I can get my brows done tomorrow, and pop into Mr M to get bread, milk and see if they have any frozen cranberries as I REALLY want to make my winter chutney with the free apples I got and it calls for cranberries.
Jinty - sounds like your household is the same as ours tonight, OH watching the fitba too, though I won't ask what team your OH supports knowing he's also from Glasgow...touchy subject that one can be
Trying to decide Oct target, I don't really have anything planned and am away with work for some of it so shouldn't incur too many (if any) personal spends unless its a gift (must stay out of duty free!) so if I put it too low I'll feel like I'm cheating, but I don't want to put it too high and make it unachievable....hmmmm :undecidedFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

parked on the edge of the city and walked the rest of the way into work - total saving £6.
took sandwiches and lunch was £0 - yesterday it cost me £2 cos i went to Subway but having said that i like a little treat now and again as a little pick me up.
my teenager is also saving money - cos she only has 30mins for lunch at school she cant queue at the canteen so i make her sandwiches and just give her a quid for a drink. i'm saving an absolute fortune.0 -
