It was a lighthearted comment NOT an obnoxious dig unlike your own.
If I was being horrible I would have said - are you sure you even went to school, never mind further or higher education you ******
Just as well I have a canny disposition and no chip on my shoulder unlike some
7 posts in and you are already being rude to people - good start! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

I have been told that I can't take a joke and that I am sometimes too serious. Perhaps that is the reason I reacted the way I did as I did not realise your comments were lighthearted. The truth is I don't like to pick a fight either so I apologise for my behaviour.0 -

Hi everyone,
As its been nearly a month since the last post I thought I would ask how everyone is doing?
I have been trying to get on with mine today but going on the amount I've written Ive done about 50 words an hour. This post will be about the same in 2 minutes flat! Oops!! The internet is a big distraction - and I am even looking at relevant stuff. I just seem to keep finding more useful documents and not writing anything about them!
Well I hope everyone else is getting on ok, just remember why you are doing it in the first place, and don't forget the odd 10 minute break for a cuppa

If the amount of crap I wrote on here counted towards my word limit I would be laughing but have had a study day today and spent all day browsing the web doing very little towards my studying - bad bad kitty! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Glad I'm not the only one going through that - not got many words out this week, but I have spent a lot of time reading more papers (must stop that) and rearranging and formatting my thesis :rotfl:
However, I did feel a bit proud when I'd done all that cos as it currently stands I have 180 pages!! That does include appendices, but they're all papers that I've written over the last 3 years (rather than reams of questionnaires/diagrams/etc - they'll be along in a couple of months).
Hope everyone else is doing well.0 -
