I don't know about tax credits, if there's a question about them then yes.

All jobs in the year need to go on. There's a place to put the tax paid so it'll be taken into account.
  • More and more people are filing online. I do too, and find it much easier than filling in a form. You need to register, and HMRC will send you a PIN number to activate your account. This may take a week or two to arrive, so don't leave everything to the last moment.

The deadline for online filing for Tax Year 6th April 2009 to 5th April 2010 is January 31st 2011, but I always try to do it by the end of September.

You can prepare your online return step by step, only submitting it when you are happy that the figures are all present and correct. It is possible to amend it after submission if you discover a mistake or omission.

You will be asked questions about all possible sources of income and shown the appropriate section if you say 'yes': e.g. did you get any bank interest/income from paid employment/benefits? If you have your P60(s) to hand then it is just a matter of inputting their figures.

There are many people on MSE who file online who can help with specific points.
