Alternative Tenants Insurance to Homelet

If you're a private tenant; what insurance company do you use for your contents insurance?
:):):)

From what I can see, the cover by Homelet is fairly good, but it's so expensive in comparison to other policies. I have looked around, but I don't want to end up with a policy that's not the right kind of cover (inc. accidental, deposit protection, etc), as they all seem like standard contents insurance.

Any suggestions appreciated.

(*Unless it's Santander. The branch says they sent you an umbrella 3 times already and don't understand why you don't have it yet and want it back right now!!!)

Standard contents cover is availible from most home insurers for tenants. Many of these will include tenants liability cover, and you can select accidental damage cover as an option.

Deposit protection is down to you - you are best to just take care of the place! - or pay a more expensive policy like home let.
