I've always had the desserts included in the voucher spend but I think to get drinks also you have to be lucky with the waiter/branch.

You do have to remember that you don't get change from these vouchers, so sometimes worth paying a little cash.

Bit of a thick question, and sorry to hijack the OP's thread. Say I have £30 worth of vouchers, and the food and dessert bill comes to £26. Do they give me £4 in vouchers back or do they just take £30 worth of vouchers off me? Like the OP I have never exchanged into restaurant vouchers before. Sorry if I sound thick. Ooops.

How could they give you "£4 in vouchers back"?
  • You would give £20 vouchers, and pay £6 cash. Restaurants dont give change. As for desserts we have never had a problem using vouchers to pay for them. Sometimes even the drinks are included, depends on the waiter.
  • I mentioned it when I went recently. It was no problem, and the food at Prezzo in Manchester's spinningfields was absolutely outstanding!
    Bon Appetit! :D
