As the offer ended at midnight last night I was quite surprised to see the TomTom One hadn't returned to it's 'normal' price this morning. Maybe they've had the decency to leave it a few days so it's not too obvious...

I think you're right, cos they changed the price quickly, just as I was about to order.

I was actually on the phone to the missus, getting the approval to spend, clicked on the page, the wham £249 !

Back to £199 now surprise surprise. That is well out of order. Is that false advertising or anything, bumping up the price by £50 and then giving 20% off?

As the claim that it was a 'mis-price' was a complete lie it's no surprise at all that they've done this. As I said in an earlier post, their behaviour is an absolute disgrace

Argos usually do a 20% off all sat nav at various times during the year too.

They do BUT they are already 20% more expenisve than anybody else - Tom Tom One is £249.99 at moment

No they are usually pretty good and it is £199.99 at the moment.
