Hi,
I have a small scuff on one of my alloy wheels and am wondering how best to repair it - normally I would have left it but have only had the car a month and am fed up about it!
Can anyone recommend anywhere in the Preston/Blackpool area to get it fixed?
Thanks
Sarah

scuffs away i think0 -
You can get alloys refurbed for about £50+.I'd imagine a small scuff will be cheaper than that.0

Have emailed a couple of places I found through yell.com, not sure if it will be worth repairing as will prob only scuff it again!0

Well if its only a small scuff and you aren't selling the car I'd just leave it myself.Especially as you think you might do it again.0

It is only a small scuff right on the edge of the rim. The car is only 4 weeks old (10 plate reg) so wont be selling it anytime soon.0

Try smartwheelrepairs.co.uk
For small scuffs they charge about £30 per wheel0 -
Look around and you can get a wheel fully refurbed for that. For small scuffs they charge about £30 per wheel
If I was the OP though and it was just one wheel, I'd consider buying one from a dealers and keep the scuffed one as a spare and drive more carefully in future. It won't be cheap though but should have the exact same factory finish.0 -
Could always fit some Alloy rim protectors which should prevent damage0

Not heard of those before. I know you can get tyres with a rim protection feature designed in.
Only found out about them the other day while browsing http://www.etyres.co.uk/alloygator0
