what is a story treatment? is it teh same as a pitch? i got a letter from my new tutor (radio drama mixed in with stage drama class so got drago stage tutor instead of dead nice radio tutor!) i got it last week and it asked for either the first draft of a 30-min radio play or a 'full story treatment' and i have absolutely no idea what this is! she left an email on the letter but hasnt replied and ive tried telephining the uni but she wont be in until the first day back, monday and our lesson is at 10:00am on monday! ive written a pitch but its only 1000 words and i dont want to get in trouble but there was absolutely no way i could write a 30+ page play in a week, especially with my learning difficulties. can anyone advise? thanks!
