M&S - refund after 2 years cos didn't hit my bank a/c?

Options
Hi
This is a total long shot. My OH thinks I don't stand a chance:rotfl: However, I am looking at my receipts and bank statements (having to do a huge catch up from 2008 - I know I left it a long time!) I found out that though in June 2008, M&S issued a refund receipt for some items, the refund didn't hit my bank account at all.
If I show a retailier the receipts, my bank statement and the relevant debit card, will they sort it out after this long a time?

You having nothing to lose but to try.
  • I'd raise this issue with your card issuer first. They should have received an instruction from M&S. If they have received one and failed to act on it, it is their problem.

If it is the bank error, chase for interest on the money too.
