Trade marks

Hi can anyone tell me how I would get someone to make up my trade mark design and would I regsiter it through the National Business Register?

I have an idea of how I want it but I have no way of designing it on my computer.

Strictly speaking you wouldn't need a computer made design to register a trademark. You could quite easily photocopy a drawing and send that. You would then register with the IPO (http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/tm/t-about.htm).

This way you do not need to involve a third-party to create the design before it is protected.
